Although technically not a park, the Park Department assists the Street Department in managing this piece of ground. A new 90' Pier was donated by Sudlow's Pier Shop in the spring of 2007 and is installed, removed and maintained by Sudlow's Pier Shop. The Municipal Pier is used as a place for people to park their boats to walk up-town to shop, dine or go to a movie. A strobe light on top of a pole at the edge of the shoreline signals the evening time when the boat speed must be reduced on the lake and waterskiing must stop.
