Syracuse Community Center

Opening in the summer of 2002, the Syracuse Community Center has become home to many Syracuse special events, as well as daily use for young and old alike. The Community Center houses a computer lab, fitness room, Senior Citizen area, gymnasium and additional rooms available to rent for meetings and other family parties. The Community Center is also home to the Syracuse-Wawasee Historical Museum.

Rental Information

From small family gatherings, such as birthday parties and family reunions, to large events, such as wedding receptions, the Syracuse Community Center has a rental option for you.  All rentals include Community Center staff setting up the tables and chairs before your events.  Each room also includes the use of a kitchen, with a stove, freezer, refrigerator, sink and lots of counter space, or a kitchenette, with a refrigerator, sink and counter space.

Kiwanis Room

The smallest area available for rental, the Kiwanis Room has a maximum capacity of 75 people and seats up to 50 people comfortably.  The Kiwanis Room is across the hallway from the main Community Center kitchen.

Celebration Hall

Celebration Hall overlooks Lakeside Park and Syracuse Lake and has outside access to the patio in front of the Syracuse Community Center.  Celebration Hall has a maximum capacity of 105 people and seats up to 85 people comfortably.  Celebration Hall has a small kitchenette and a unisex restroom directly attached.


The largest area available for rental, our Gymnasium as a maximum capacity of 250 and seats up to 225 people comfortably.  The Community Center kitchen is accessible to the Gymnasium through a pass through window.
