The Syracuse Comprehensive Plan was completed in May 2006. The comprehensive plan reflects the existing conditions in the community, analyzes trends and relationships and identifies situations related to various community issues. A series of goals, recommendations and action steps were designed to provide the framework for providing orderly growth and development in the community while maintaining the small town character that residents desire. The plan also embaces the lake culture as an important role in development of the town.
