Beginning Fly Fishing

Learn when and why fly fishing is the right tool for the task! Participants will gain an understanding of what weight fly rod and fly line to use for various types of fishing. They will also learn about leaders and tippet as well as line types, fly fishing safety, etiquette, and various types of flies. Class is limited to 5 participants
Minimum age is 11 years old. Total cost is $15.00 per participant and will be paid to instructor. Equipment will be supplied.

Advanced Fly Fishing

Improve your fly casting accuracy and learn how to increase your distance with a variety of drills as well as specially-made targets designed to make you a better fly fisher. Each target has a different configuration to help simulate real fishing scenarios.  This is a great way to practice both accuracy and distance under the guidance of an instructor. Classes will consist of a maximum of two participants in order for you to get the most practice and instruction possibleMinimum age is 11 years old. Cost is $15.00 per participant. Bring your own rod or one will be available. Prerequisites for taking class; must be able to comfortably cast a distance of at least 35 feet and have actively fly fished for at least a year.
